SharePoint 6398 Error

If you’re getting the following error:

The Execute method of job definition Microsoft.SharePoint.Administration.SPSqmTimerJobDefinition (ID b6794ffa-87e5-4893-b3a3-107234d3b574) threw an exception. More information is included below.

Then load SharePoint 2010 Central Administration and navigate to Central Administration – Job History, change your view to ‘Failed Jobs’ and you should see the job in question.

In my case it was the ‘CEIP Data Collection’ and another article led me to disable the ‘Customer Experience Improvement Program’:Central Administration – System Settings – Configure Privacy Options (Under “Farm Management”)

Finally, disable the Timer Job itself
